Bisnode Business Information Group AB, established in 1989 by Lars Save, operates in 18 European countries with a focus on business, market, and credit information. Owned 70% by Ratos and 30% by Bonnier, it has evolved from its origins in the 1859 Sveriges Handelskalender. Bisnode specializes in acquiring and revitalizing problem companies, culminating in a unified brand strategy under the leadership of Lars Pettersson in 2012. It employs around 2,500 people across Europe, with its headquarters in Stockholm.
